'casting experiment'

As a development from simply printing the linocuts, I had come across the work of Holly Drewett (hollydrewett.com) who in her project ‘A translation of underwater soundscapes’ (2022) she included linocut plaster casts which led me to experiment with blind casting using Crystacal R casting plaster.

In this way the works became three dimensional, referring back to the idea of ‘Touch’ from the Spineless Wonders symposium
