a small ritual - concertina book

Through following Tim Brennan’s ‘A Drawing Ceremony’ for my own take on this which I am calling ‘A Small Ritual’ I made a walk on 21 consecutive days, each time walking, finding a stone then returning to draw the stone in a handmade booklet.

In addition to drawing the stones I photographed them as I wanted a record of this particular group.

In recording these it felt like they needed to be displayed somehow, but still in miniature form.

The concertina book really lent itself to documenting this collection and is presented in a slip case.
